I read a bunch of comic book titles once again but the stand out for me was the often overlooked book Legends of the Dark Knight, not surprisingly a comic that stars Batman. Batman, as a character,is often portrayed as an almost omniscient prepared-for-anything schemer and planner - but this simple little story delves a bit more into a lower key case. The dialogue is easy to follow yet looks at the setting and characters from an interesting perspective, a style which matches the art within the issue extremely well. The art, as seen in the image, lends the story a very appropiate noir style which manages to bring Gotham City to life in an eye opening manner.
Definitely the stand out comic of the week.
